I.P.S.I.A. "G. FERRARIS" DI PACE DEL MELA

The Institute of Istruzione Superiore"Enzo Ferrari" is an Upper Secondary School and a VET pole including four associated schools. Two of them are specialized in "Services for Agriculture and Rural Developmet" and the other two in "Industry and Craftsmanship". The school also offers business courses with a curriculum including two foreign languages - English and Spanish - as well as evening courses for adult education, aimed at providing education opportunities to housewives, unemployment and NEETS while promoting lifelong education. The four schools are located in different but nearby places along the Tyrrhenian belt in the Municipalities of Barcellona P.G., Milazzo and Pace Mela. The professional pole hosts about 860 students and teachers. 140The two agricultural schools have annexed farms where the cultivation of Mediterranean and tropical fruit trees is practised, they also have greenhouses and updated science and technological laboratories. The Vocational, Industry and Craftsmanship schools can boast computer, mechanical, thermal, electrical laboratories and they are equipped with photovoltaic and solar plants.
